This video of JM is a favorite of mine. We first saw it on the Battle Studies Spring Tour 2010. He had it playing on the huge screen behind him during "Edge of Desire" - his last song of the night. It was a fitting end to the show.
I think it gives a look into his true personality. The “real” John Mayer if you will. It shows him doing what he loves most: playing music. Sure, he’s been in the tabloids a lot, he’s had many relationships, but I’d like to focus on his incredible talents - the reason he’s in the spotlight in the first place.
This video shows him in a really down-to-earth way and he seems like the kind of guy I’d like to meet. And tour with.
